The benefits of families receiving the support they need to successfully raise healthy and thriving children are well-documented. Here at Montrose we believe that it takes a village, and that is what our partnership seeks to establish, an integrated network and care team dedicated and designated to provide individuals, families and youth with the care teams that are committed to nothing short of their success.
All families can benefit from support in some way, healthy relationships are important for healthy outcomes but can be significantly impacted by severe stress, unexpected changes, mental illness, economic insecurities, abuse, and family dysfunction. Montrose SBSS Inc. can support the family by providing respite care, supportive counselling and creative programming.
Clients are welcomed from all settings and can be referred by a professional or family member in agreement with the client in need where appropriate. Referrals can be made by contacting Montrose SBSS Inc.

At Montrose, one of our various frameworks include the psychosocial model of care. This is one of many approaches that help to support a more holistic source of care to our clients. If you are unfamiliar , The Biopsychosocial model is an interdisciplinary model that looks at the interconnection between biology, psychology, and socio-environmental factors. The model specifically examines how these aspects play a role in topics ranging from health and disease, to human development” This framework takes into account the various and complex characteristics of an individual and their intrinsic needs that help develop a meaningful plan of care. While this model is not perfect, it continues to draw out important qualities of a person's unique context to better support their needs.
