As a social service incubator, Montrose Strengths Based Support Services Inc. supports social service organizations to provide quality staffing relief and respite care support. The purpose of this is to provide individuals amongst the client population of our agency partners with tailored individual support, while also providing organizations with highly effective resources to enhance their organizational operations. In an ongoing effort to support the dynamic changes of our social service organizations, Montrose bas developed a professional roster of social service practitioners to provide individual consultations and agency-wide training related to social service, equity, anti-oppression/anti-racism practice work.
The purpose of this roster is to connect our community partners with individuals providing critical professional development learning and agency wide consultations. The ultimate objective of this service is to become a one-stop-shop to all social service organizations providing care to vulnerable populations whilst developing strong individual community partnerships with social service experts
Ingrid is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and holds an MDiv. degree specializing in Clinical Counselling. She is a registered Facilitator with Enrich Canada, an Advisory Council Member of Kujenga Family Wellness Project and a Therapist Associate to Generation Chosen's Remedy Program. Ingrid practices an integrative style of counselling; drawing on family systems, cognitive and behavioural, psychodynamic, and solution-focused techniques.
Side By Side Family Centre in partnership with Durham Black Educators’ Network, will be supporting Black students ages 6-12 years old, and their families in Durham Region, to deliver highly targeted, community-based and culturally relevant advocacy supports. This initiative was developed in response to identify and address systemic barriers to Black students’ achievement, equity and well-being.
Jessica Ketwaroo-Green works as an intersectional gender equity advocate and has implemented progressive systems and policy change in Canada through research and policy change. Her work has spanned a variety of disciplines within the social justice sector. Jessica works with organizations and individuals to build their capacity to address and dismantle systemic oppression.
Susanne Nyaga is an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Consultant. She works directly with small and medium-sized organizations seeking support to improve their equity, diversity and inclusion policies, practices and knowledge. Her services include anti-oppression/anti-racism training, conflict mediation, keynote addresses and EDI initiative implementation support. .

Montrose new development of the ‘Social Service Professionals’ roster includes but is not limited to psychologists, social workers, equity educators, EDI consultants and more. The purpose of this roster is to:
a) Connect our agency partners with individuals providing critical professional development learning and agency wide consultations and
b) To provide individual community members with a trusted roster of social service professionals whose services they can enlist.
The ultimate objective of this service is to increase access for community members and agencies to: carefully vetted social services professionals that can provide individualized support to community members and system-wide intervention for organizations.
