In collaboration with existing residential programs, we are dedicated to providing direct and on-going therapeutic supervision and care to residents including: basic daily care of residents, such as health care and safety, behaviour management of residents through role modelling, positive reinforcement, utilizing therapeutic relationship and education, group work and individualized plans of care. Our team also provides short term assignments, on call replacements, overnight awake and overnight asleep support shifts.
Associates work closely with families and other community agencies to improve the: physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development of vulnerable children and youth. Through direct 1:1 support of children and youth in their immediate environment, our associates are able to build strong relationships in a circle of care. Under this circle of care families can access relief services. As well, families addressing challenging behaviours can access support through our behaviour management programs.
Youth and young adults ages 16-21 looking to transition into a more independent setting can be assigned a support worker to help with adjusting to the rapid changes accompanied with increased autonomy. Also, under this service plan our team is available to work closely with youth who require developmental support within their homes. As well to support any youth or young adult in conflict with the law, struggling with their mental health or working on personal goals for self improvement. Our associates do this by connecting youth to the appropriate services and supports either internal to your agencies or external to our partners to meet their needs.
The Family Support worker works with the child and the family short term/long term based on the family's need. They will assess the functionality of the family as it relates to behaviour management and will work with the family members in setting goals for positive intervention strategies. Intervention may also include referrals to other community supports. Family support workers assist in strengthening the existing relationships from within to preserve the attachment relationship.

Anger management programs provide education and/or a therapeutic opportunity to deal with anger in a positive, functional way. Programs may be court-ordered or voluntary. Participants may include individuals who internalize their anger as well as those who act it out verbally or in behaviour towards others.
Our Emotional Regulation Support Workers help participants to identify their anger style, triggers and the scenarios that prompt anger. They then examine different strategies for dealing with anger. Programs may also deal with conflict resolution, by examining different responses to conflict and conflict resolution styles.
